Empowering Dads, Changing Lives!

How It All Started!

In September 2023, Jordan Ikitule, took a chance and started ASD Dads from my garage in South Auckland. My goal was simple: connect with 2-3 fellow dads of autistic children. You’ve swapped from using third person to first person.

A single video sparked a national movement, with dads from all over the country reaching out, eager to join the community. As a father of an autistic child myself, I understood the struggles and isolation that came with navigating life and finding support. My own journey with my 6-year-old son, Storm, has been a driving force behind ASD Dads.

Being able to socialise with other dads who are going through what I am. As a male i find it difficult to even express my feelings about my ausome child but being around a bunch of males who can understand the same situation is a blessing I've been searching for.
